CISPES is sending two exciting brigades to El Salvador this summer to support the FMLN government's new health and education initiatives!

June 23 - July 15, 2012:Literacy Brigade. APPLICATION DEADLINE - MAY 1 The Ministry of Education has an incredible goal of eliminating illiteracy in El Salvador! While they have made great strides with the help of 14,000 volunteers, they are calling for international participation from North Americans and the Salvadoran community in the US to support this “program of love and solidarity.” Click here for more info! DEADLINE FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS, NURSES, P.A.s & ALL OTHER APPLICANTS - JUNE 15

The Ministry of Public Health has formed over 400 community health teams to provide in-home preventative and comprehensive health care in rural areas that previously had little to no access to health care, but they are in urgent need of personnel and supplies. Click here for more info!
