Vancouver- Monday May 31, 2010 protesters gather outside of the Headquarters of Pacific Rim Mining company. the Company has a law suit against the government of El Salvador which is being held at the World Bank in Washington DC. Pacific Rim has been in a battle with the people and government of El Salvador over its right to mine for gold. The Salvadorian government has denied mining permits to the Pacific Rim Mining company due to the environmental damage that the mining project will have on El Salvador.

On the eve of World Bank/CAFTA hearing June 1, 2010 in DC, protestors call attention to Pacific Rim's suing El Salvador for not permitting mining gold that would poison half of their rivers with cyanide.
