We hope you can join us for our first virtual delegation - one of many more to come! About Adalberto Elias: Adalberto grew up and currently lives in El Paraíso, a community repopulated by ex-guerrilla combatants in the capital city, San Salvador. Last year in the internal elections of the leftist Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front party (FMLN), he was elected to San Salvador's municipal FMLN coordinating board and to be the Municipal Youth Coordinator. In addition to organizing the city's young people by forming theater, drum-crew, and silk-screening collectives, and organizing FMLN youth brigades doing relief work in response to the recent tropical storm disaster, Adalberto and his fellow FMLN youth across the country are actively taking to the streets in door-to-door campaigns to bring out the youth vote in the country's legislative and municipal elections in March 2012.
