Midwest Victory Tour postponed until fall

Noticias

The events of the CISPES summer victory tour from July 6-11 have been canceled for the following reason:

This week our planned speaker for the tour, Breny Herrera, was named the new Director of Public Events, Radio, and Television in the Ministry of Interior and Justice (Ministerio de Gobernacion) of the Salvadoran government. The appointment was a total surprise, something she just found outabout early this week. It is a very exciting position for her as she will now be working as a top official within the Funes administration; however, with much work to do to begin cleaning up the mess of the previous Saca administration, Breny can no longer come to the US for the tour.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and we want to extend a special thanks to all those who helped to organize events in Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago and who support thework of the CISPES in the Midwest. We reallyappreciate your collaboration with us on this occasion, and we lookforward to organizing future CISPES events together.
