By Midnight Tonight--Give a Gift with Heart and Soul!

News

Acrossthe county, CISPES committees are celebrating our 30th anniversary! It has been wonderful to hear stories from some of the activists who helpedfound CISPES and to uncover historic photos and videos -- I hope you'll check them out! We'll send you or a friend one of these historic prints if you donate $40 or more by midnight TONIGHT!

For decades, we have organized side-by-side with the Salvadoran social movement toward a shared vision of liberation and justicethroughout the Americas. It has been truly inspiring to hear how transformational these relationships have been for organizers on both sides of the border and that 30 years later, these profound connections remain the heart and soul of CISPES solidarity organizing.

With the FMLN's victory in 2009, El Salvador has taken one giant step closer forward in making that vision a reality, bringing hope to all of us. But the social movement is still counting on CISPES and all of our supporters to keep the power of international solidarity alive! As you can see from these special saludos (salutes), we are being called to action today.

Buildingthese valuable people-to-people ties takes a lot of time and a lot of heart. It also takes money! Can we count on your support to carry the struggle forward?

To show our thanks and to commemorate 30 years of struggle, we'll send you (or a friend) an 18X24 print depicting a captivating moment in El Salvador's struggle for justice if you donate $40 or more. Donate $60 or more and we'll send you both! (Thanks to our friend Adam Kufeld for the wonderful images)

Donateby midnight tonight and we'll send you the print to you or a friend in time for the holidays.  It's fast and easy to make a secure donation by clicking here.

Thank you for making this work possible!

En solidaridad,

Ilana Feingold, CISPES Development Director

P.S. Salvadoranstudent organizer Oswaldo Nataren recently commented on the 30th Anniversary of CISPES, "La solidaridad es uno de los mas nobles principios del revolucionario"(Solidarity is one of the most noble principles of a revolutionary). Help us continue these vital relationships going into our 31st year by making a generous donation today and receive a beautiful 18X24 print to give as a gift this holiday season!
