The heavy storm that hit El Salvador last week continued over the weekend . As of Monday afternoon, the storm has caused 32 deaths in El Salvador, mostly due to homes collapsing as a result of mudslides. According to the Director of Civil Protection, over 32,000 people have been evacuated across the country, nearly 22,000 of whom are being housed in emergency shelters. Experts predict that the rains will continue until Tuesday or Wednesday.
