CISPES outside of Pacific Rim Mining Headquarters In Vancouver

Vancouver- Monday May 31, 2010 protesters gather outside of the Headquarters of Pacific Rim Mining company. the Company has a law suit against the government of El Salvador which is being held at the World Bank in Washington DC. Pacific Rim has been in a battle with the people and government of El Salvador over its right to mine for gold. The Salvadorian government has denied mining permits to the Pacific Rim Mining company due to the environmental damage that the mining project will have on El Salvador.
