Support the Solidarity Cyclers 2007 Ride!

100 Mile Loop outside Washington D.C. , October 13-14

This October, the Committee in Solidarity with the People of ElSalvador (CISPES) and the Haiti Reborn program of the Quixote Center will becycling for solidarity! We'll spend two days on a fun, beautifulride in the rural areas around Washington D.C. The main goals of theride are to raise money for important solidarity work and to celebratethe community of solidarity activists. How do I support the riders?

Make a pledge online at https://chavez.mayfirst.org/cispes/ and write "cyclers" next to the amount. If you're writing a check make sure its payable to CISPES Education Fund" with "cyclers" in the memo line, and send it to:

Whats the route and plan?

Were going to do a loop outside Washington DC and into Virginia. Allthe cyclists will gather early Saturday morning (October 14) with bikesand camping gear. Well ride 50 miles or so to a beautiful spot to restfor the night and on Sunday well complete the loop, biking back intothe city. Well end the ride with a big public event and reception lateSunday afternoon at the La Casa Community Center in Mt. Pleasant with a report on the rideand on CISPES and Haiti Reborns work.
