WEST COAST Road to Victory Tour with ANDES 21 de Junio Teachers Union

From November 11th to 23rd  Francisca Iraheta Romero, a leader from ANDES 21 de Junio, El Salvador’s oldest teacher’s union, will go on tour on the West Coast to share more about the social transformations made by El Salvador’s first leftist government, the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN). Learn about the risks and challenges the FMLN faces in the upcoming February 2014 elections from an activist who has experienced these changes firsthand and how you can show your solidarity with the Salvadoran people. fanciscaFrancisca Iraheta Romero is currently the president of the departmental (state) secretaries’ organization within ANDES 21 de Junio, the oldest teacher’s union in El Salvador. She played a key role in the education working group for the massive citizen consultation used to develop the FMLN government platform for the 2014-2019 campaign season.
